Welcome to Whiting Designs where ribbon is turned into art.  I work primarily with French ribbon transforming it into ribbon flower pins, purses, and barrettes. Specifically I use French wired ribbon.  The wire allows me to sew, pinch, twist and otherwise coax the ribbon into the flowers it wants to be. It also allows my pieces to age gracefully as they are worn and loved, giving them vintage appeal.
     You can find my work at select shops and galleries across the US as well as juried fine art and craft shows throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
